Brickhead: Yeah Yeah, Yeah?

Brickhead

Brickhead: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah? Is a hilarious performance that revolves almost entirely around the clowning and physical comedy of its titular character: Brickhead.

Going in to this show I wasnít sure of what to expect from it, as clowning isnít one of my preferred styles of comedy but I was pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the shows humour - that is almost all hit and only a tiny part miss.

The introduction was one of the highlights of the performance, delving straight in to the physical comedy without any preamble or delay and setting the tone for the rest of the sixty minute runtime.

Another thing that Brickhead did very well was audience interaction and participation, using props and physical comedy with the audience to comedic effect. However there were moments in the production where the audience participation slowed down the pacing of the show because it was difficult for the performer to get the audience to participate in the way he wanted solely through use of physical comedy.

Nevertheless Brickhead: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah? Is a thoroughly enjoyable and unorthodox comedic experience that I would recommend to any Fringe theatre goer aged sixteen and upwards.
