The Jester’s Lament follows the story of Robin, a Jester who tells their tales of bravery, buffoonery, betrayal and love. We meet our Jester on the last leg of their journey. They tell their audience how they got to that point, and Robin’s fate lies in their hands.

This storytelling piece involves the audience to move the plot along. With a mixture of clowning, improv, magic tricks and downright silliness, this tale with have the audience on the edge of their seats, literally.

Sally is a performer from Somerset, she has a MA in drama and premiered her final piece, Tempus Fugit in Stroud Theatre festival in 2019. She is part of South By SouthWest Theatre Company, who have also performed at Barnstaple multiple times.

The Jester’s Lament is one of Sally’s biggest storytelling pieces to date, she has a passion for telling stories with the use of comedy and pathos, be ready to laugh, cry and have a full fringe theatre experience.
