Seweni Theatre is a brand new theatre company that aims to put the spotlight on new faces and give a platform to unheard voices and stories. Seweni's first show "Don't Get Hit" is the first of many plays to explore, articulate and attempt to answer the difficult questions we have as a society today. Now, more than ever it is important for people to place themselves in other people's shoes and see the world from their point of view. Seweni's belief is that the theatre is a place where this can happen. The production introduces Elena Andonova who sets the stage alight with a raw and powerful soul.

"Don’t Get Hit" may be Seweni’s first step, but it’s a bold one, signalling the arrival of a company that’s committed to not only telling stories but also to challenging audiences to think, feel, and see the world in ways we may never have before.
