A darkly comedic peek inside the mind of a young man who has spent the past four year of his life living with a controversial new-age cult.
about me
Hey, I’m Matt, a queer writer and performer from the far-flung land of Abergavenny, South Wales.
Since I was eight I’ve performed in musicals, plays, short films, adverts, and even the odd, very questionable, murder mystery. Now, I mostly write and perform character pieces; sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes a bit of both.
Specifically, I have a soft spot for underdog stories about the marginalized, drawing from my own experiences as a young gay man. My latest dark comedy piece, I Think I’ve Made a Terrible Mistake, is definitely no exception and I cannot wait to show you all at Barnstaple TheatreFest in June - which will be my first ever time taking part.
See you there!
