S.P.A.C.E.
Stagedore Theatre Company

Crazy is lost in chaos trying to de-clutter her house and mind. Her other half, Sanity tries to help but she can be rather bossy and uncaring. Can they come together in harmony?

In Bev Clark’s S.P.A.C.E. we see a woman called ‘Crazy’ lost in chaos, trying to de-clutter her house and mind. Her other half, ‘Sanity’ tries to help - but she can be rather bossy and uncaring.

Expect plenty of humour in this often moving, beautifully written play, expertly directed by Rosamund Smith. Oh, and perhaps you’ll spot the invisible ‘Wade Whimsie’…!

Stagedore Theatre Company was formed during the pandemic by local Actors Carol Carey and Sara Pruce, with the plan to create regional theatre employing South West Actors and Directors.

Sara says “Carol and I recognise that there are many professionally trained performers who live in the region, so we decided to create performance opportunities closer to home, whilst building local audiences for our productions. That way professional, live Theatre can be more accessible - and greener!”

The company enjoyed sell-out success with their first project Death of a Well-Spoken Gentleman, a murder-mystery which they performed last October.

The production is kindly sponsored by The Plough Arts Centre.
