The apocalypse has come and gone. Two actors, both alike in artistic vision, have holed up in an old theatre with the aim of keeping showbiz alive despite the end of days.

However, the only bums on seats belong to the cockroaches, the one other surviving dedicated followers of art.

The lights have gone down, the curtain is rising, and…what’s that, a knock on the stage door? Who is out there? Friend or critic?

Can the two old thespians put on a production to impress their visitor? Will the cockroaches like it? What will they write in The Daily Roach? And will there be enough ice cream for the interval?
