Hello! Dia duit! We are Fia Bhán Theatre Co! A small Dublin-based theatre company started in 2023. Following the wonderful experience we had at Theatrefest last year with our show “Celtic Sandwich” we are over the moon to be coming back to Barnstaple for the second time to bring you “Tatty Bogle”

For Tatty Bogle we wanted to create a show that encapsulated the intruigue of the mythic pasta of Scotland and Ireland. To become part of the verbal history of these stories passed down across the generations and share them with the people of Barnstaple.

Narrated by our titular Tatty Bogle or, as you may know her, scarecrow. These stories are full of life and history. Some spooky, some funny, and all 100% true (probably) if you like a good yarn and have a soft spot for the mythical then this is the show for you!
