New work from Puppet Roadshow bringing theatre to your streets, spreading happiness in a strange world.

Puppets occupy a subliminal space between reality and fantasy. They are able to speak in a language beyond words. I've been fascinated with puppetry and the way they integrate into popular culture for as long as I can remember.

Growing up before technology advanced to the complexity that children now experience I believe that live puppetry restores communication. We are now so used to life on screen that it is increasingly important to interact and share authentic moments together. It is also a very fragmented world for many people who struggle with over stimulating situations which can become very frightening.

Puppets empathise with their audience. Suprise Suprise is a cabaret of various puppetry content and styles. During the day the shows will be family friendly after 5 there maybe themes that require parental guidance or are adult in content.

Each puppetry piece will be maximum 15 minutes, minimum 3 minutes. There will be some walkabout too during the weekend.

Please note: there are both family friendly and adult versions of this show. This listing is for the family friendly version
