New work from Puppet Roadshow bringing theatre to your streets, spreading happiness in a strange world.Puppets occupy a subliminal space between reality and fantasy. They are able to speak in a language beyond words. I've been fascinated with puppetry and the way they integrate into popular culture for as long as I can remember.
Growing up before technology advanced to the complexity that children now experience I believe that live puppetry restores communication. We are now so used to life on screen that it is increasingly important to interact and share authentic moments together. It is also a very fragmented world for many people who struggle with over stimulating situations which can become very frightening.
