The sun goes down and the sky goes dark; it is time for bed, it is time for an adventure.

Remembering a dream he once had as a child, a man takes a journey across the cosmos and discovers a truth long forgotten. Alien worlds, giant robots and the snazziest pair of pyjamas ever, collide in an audio-visual treat, as interactive images and animations lead to a trip beyond the stars.

Drink your cocoa; brush your teeth, snuggle up somewhere warm and get ready to hear a story.

A bedtime story for the Universe.

The Boy Who Fell in Love with the Stars was a sell-out success in The Room At The Top last year:

If you are, or ever have been, a child you will fall in love with The Boy Who Fell in Love with the Stars.

I saw Mark (White Hippos) Ashmore's delightful performance in the 'Room at the Top' of The Queen's Theatre in Barnstaple, on the final day of Fringe Theatrefest 2013.

Mark, in his astronaut patterned jim-jams, tells the tale of a small boy's quest to explore the universe. Using projected moving images the present day man connects with his childhood dreams (reveries and aspirations) as he journeys to the stars with the help of his moustachioed Dad.

Beautiful in both image and emotion.
