Parable Arts is proud to present: The Forgotten Tales.

The British Isles are a tapestry woven with myths, legends and folk-tales. From Manx magicians to Cornish cats, the cultures of our kingdom are captured in our stories... but stories left untold will fade into forgetfulness.

The Forgotten Tales reignites the spark of stories that were once a steady flame across the land.

Combining captivating storytelling with a blend of traditional and modern folk-song, The Forgotten Tales brings to life a legion of unique characters across a series of artfully crafted Celtic adventures. Bringing together stories from across the British Isles, The Forgotten Tales will take you to on a journey from the hilarious, to the heart-breaking, to the heroic.

Parable Arts Founder, Jon Buckeridge, presents over twenty completely distinct characters, guiding audiences through a furious array of ancient myths, cultures and folk-tales; all whilst playing three different instruments and singing in three languages and a myriad of different accents (with no small degree of sweating) - this is a production guaranteed to amaze and enchant in equal measure.

“Buckeridge's live music assists the show in its emotional peaks, and continues to be a highlight throughout.” London Theatre 1

"Using song and extremely clever physical theatre, Jon showed us monsters and magic, damsels and deceit. ...highly recommended!" Shropshire Star
