musings on making a film in the shadow of a pandemic..."

Does the choice of the material reflect the experience of the last 18 months? What has the rehearsal/filming process been like?

"Yes, the pandemic has certainly affected this project. It came to mind whilst I woke up about midday (which is usual now) and all clicked into place. Although using some footage I’ve shot of Barnstaple in the past as part of the finished piece, mostly it is all going to be down to me, alone, to put it all together. A lot of the film will be the result of work on my computer. I just hope the finished piece is going to hang together well. Don’t expect it to be family friendly. This one’s going to be dark. My biggest problem at the moment is going to be to find a wooded area I can go to at night and not be too spooked out!"
