Inventing Tesla
Amelie Vaccari

Amelie Vaccari is a recent graduate from Falmouth University looking to share some of her current work. She trained in Theatre and Performance, where she prides herself in devising and developing her own work.

She has always had a deep interest in the Serbian inventor, Nikola Tesla, which was her main inspiration for Inventing Tesla. Alongside this, she feels that Tesla's voice went unheard for the majority of his lifetime, and wanted to shine some light on the inner workings of his brain. If the inventor was listened to, perhaps we would be living in an alternate world, where sustainability really is at the heart of the planet we live on.

Although Nikola Tesla's intelligence is fascinating, Amelie is also captivated by the life he kept concealed in his journals. Amelie blends solo performance and puppetry through playful explorations to aid her discovery of Nikola Tesla's life. Come and watch 'Inventing Tesla' for an exciting and innovative performance.
